Privacy Policy – Round Robin Dispatcher for ServiceNow
Summary
Round Robin Dispatcher does not collect, sell, share or transmit your data to us or to any third party. Everything it stores stays in your browser. It has no server, no analytics and no tracking.
What the extension stores, and where
The extension stores the following only in your browser's local extension storage on your device:
- the ServiceNow instance addresses you add;
- the agents you create (display name, optional ServiceNow user ID, working days);
- teams (name, colour, assignment group names, members and their ticket share);
- planned absences (agent, start date, end date; no reason is stored);
- your settings;
- an assignment history of up to 500 entries (date, ticket number, ticket type, team, agent name, instance host).
We (the publisher) never receive any of this data.
Network activity
The extension sends requests only to the ServiceNow instances you add, and only after you grant the browser permission for each address. It uses your existing, logged-in ServiceNow session to:
- read unassigned tickets in the assignment groups you configured;
- look up users by the names or user IDs you configured;
- set the "Assigned to" field and, if enabled, add a work note.
It does not read or store your password or authentication tokens outside the page, and it does not contact any other server. It does not load remote code.
Personal data about other people
Agent names are personal data of your colleagues. You are responsible for using the extension for legitimate work purposes and in line with your organisation's policies and applicable data-protection law (for example the GDPR or Tunisian Organic Law 2004-63). Because the data never leaves your device, your organisation remains the controller of any ServiceNow data processed through your own account.
Retention and deletion
Data stays until you delete it. You can delete everything at any time in Settings > Data & privacy > Delete all data. Uninstalling the extension removes all of its stored data. Absences are removed automatically once they end, and history is capped at 500 entries.
Permissions
- storage: save your settings and history locally.
- scripting: run the extension only on the ServiceNow addresses you added.
- Optional host access (requested per address): talk to your ServiceNow instance. Nothing is requested until you add an address.
Children
The extension is a workplace tool and is not directed at children.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be published with the extension and on the store listing, with a new effective date. Because we collect no data, changes cannot affect data we hold about you: we hold none.
